Laurie K. Gilbert s.o.c. is a Hollywood accredited helicopter aerial cinematographer and stills photographer operating globally from S.E.Asia. He also owns and operates www.aerialcinematography.com.

Over the last 25 years he has shot dynamic motion picture and stills imagery in a total of 48 countries and his aerial work regularly appears in cinemas, on television and printed in lifestyle magazines, posters and web pages. Locations range from Singapore to San Tropez and Honolulu to Hvar in Croatia and he is a very experienced offshore yachting photographer.

Because of his geographical operational base in Asia, he regularly receives commissions to photograph both active and dormant volcanoes and one of the most “interesting” islands he has documented recently can be seen in the current Discovery documentary “Krakatoa”, a project he worked on for Pioneer Productions in London.
